Did you know the first Census was in 1790? Only 230 years ago!

Under the U.S. Constitution, the very first responsibility of the Federal Government is a count of all persons living in the United States.

Taking the census is a civic duty, and impacts support for infrastructure, transportation planning, emergency preparedness, disaster relief, education funding, health tracking and disease control, as well as a multitude of other things. Be sure your household is counted in 2020. #KansasCounts #2020Census

Approximately 10% of Kansas’ current residents (or 284,680 residents) are considered #HTC (Hard-To-Count). It’s vital to all residents that Kansas gets an accurate count for the 2020 Census so that all communities have access to valuable federal funding.
